Buenas tardes:

Buscamos un titulado en geografía para formar parte de un equipo que
desarrollará su labor en el ámbito de la elaboración de planes de protección de
Espacios Protegidos, proyectos en suelo rústico, impartición de cursos sobre el
entorno rural, ...

Se solicitan como requisitos la disponibilidad de carnet de conducir, así como
conocimientos en ofimática y autocad. No se requiere experiencia.

PhD Research Studentship in Human Geography

PhD Research Studentship in Human Geography

Applications are invited for a three year PhD research studentship in Human
Geography tenable at the University from mid-September 2003. Candidates
with interests in the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply:

* Geographies of voluntarism and volunteering
* The 'home' and geographies of consumption
* Geographies of vulnerable and excluded social groups
* Geographies of crime and the criminal justice system

or other relevant areas of social, economic, urban or political geography.

The studentship will cover all fees and provide a grant of approximately
£7,500 per annum. The successful candidate will also be expected to
undertake some teaching at first and second year levels.

The Department of Geography gained a 4A in the 2001 RAE and is
rated 'Excellent' for teaching. The student would be a member of the
Space, Society and Politics Research Group in the Department which has
developed an international reputation for its innovative work in areas of
social and cultural geography.

Applicants for the studentship should have (or expect to have) a good
Honours and/or Masters degree in geography or a related discipline. They
